Teleconsultation Disclaimer

1. Nature of Teleconsultation

Teleconsultation is the provision of homoeopathic medical consultation and advice through remote communication channels including WhatsApp chat, WhatsApp voice calls, and WhatsApp video calls. Dr. D Rajesh Jaiswal offers teleconsultation services to patients across India and internationally.

Teleconsultation is governed by the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued by the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission (2020) and applicable provisions of the Indian Medical Act.

2. Limitations of Teleconsultation

You acknowledge and understand that teleconsultation has inherent limitations compared to in-person consultation, including:

• The inability to conduct a physical examination
• Reliance on information provided by the patient, which must be accurate and complete
• Technical issues such as poor connectivity, audio/video quality, or platform disruptions
• Inability to assess certain physical signs that may be clinically important
• Risk of misunderstanding or miscommunication in text-based consultations

3. Your Responsibilities as a Patient

For a safe and effective teleconsultation, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful medical and personal information
• Disclose all current medications, supplements, and ongoing treatments
• Share relevant investigation reports, prescriptions, or medical documents when requested
• Inform Dr. D Rajesh Jaiswal immediately if your condition worsens or you experience new symptoms
• Seek immediate in-person emergency care if experiencing a medical emergency

5. Prescription and Medicine Delivery

Following a teleconsultation, Dr. D Rajesh Jaiswal may issue a homoeopathic prescription via WhatsApp or email. Medicines may be:

• Collected in person from the clinic at Street No 14, Tarnaka, Secunderabad
• Arranged for courier delivery to your address within India (delivery charges may apply)
• Purchased from a local homoeopathic pharmacy using the prescription provided

Prescriptions issued are based solely on the information provided during consultation. Dr. D Rajesh Jaiswal shall not be responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the patient.

6. Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are communicated at the time of booking. Payments are accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or cash at clinic. Fees paid are non-refundable once a consultation has been conducted. In case of technical failure preventing the consultation, an alternative appointment will be arranged.

7. Confidentiality of Online Consultations

All information exchanged during teleconsultation is confidential and governed by our Privacy Policy. WhatsApp communications are end-to-end encrypted. We do not record consultations without your explicit consent.

8. Follow-up and Continuity of Care

Online patients are reviewed every 3–4 weeks. It is the patient's responsibility to follow up as advised. Dr. D Rajesh Jaiswal reserves the right to recommend in-person consultation at any point if clinical assessment requires it.

9. Technical Requirements

For an effective teleconsultation you should have:

• A smartphone or computer with a working camera and microphone
• WhatsApp installed and active on your device
• A stable internet connection
• A private, quiet environment during the consultation
